The Bristol Post and Bath Chronicle Women of the Year Awards took place on 9th March at Bristol Harbour Hotel.

The awards, run by the Bristol Post and Bath Chronicle in association with the University of the West of England, celebrate the achievements of businesswomen and entrepreneurs across the region.

Bristol Post managing director Sarah Pullen, said:

“This evening’s finalists are setting a glowing example to the next generation. They are the pioneers working to narrow the gender gap in business; inspiring young women with the confidence to go out and make their mark.

“With new research showing that UK is missing out on a £10.1 billion economic boost by not doing enough to support women in business, inspiring female role models are more important than ever.

“Until women and men are on an equal footing, every opportunity must be taken to show the women coming after us just what can be achieved with talent and determination.”
